Turkey - Pamukkale and Hierapolis

Once again I could not get the blog software to let me append these photos so here they are separately - Hierapolis theatre ruin is in very good condition and was attracting a lot of bikini clad young ladies all taking photos to add to their Facebook pages. Cleopatra's pool was chock full of people, as were the accessible sections of the Travertine pools.

Hierapolis Theatre and posers

Another fine aquaduct !

Hordes of humanity in Cleopatra's Pool

Hierapolis-Pamukkale South Gate

Popular spot for local wedding photos

Largely intact theatre - used occasionally for musical events

Lone worker keeping the pools clean

Hordes of punters accessing the pools

And more of them ...
