London by Night
Following on the London Photographic Tour of the City Hall-Tower Bridge area, I signed up for a night photo tour. Starting at Waterloo Bridge we walked along Southbank, took some photos of buses crossing Westminster Bridge towards Big Ben, then wandered along Southbank past the Eye, then down the the Millennium bridge and across to finish at St Pauls.
I had spent the afternoon reading my camera manual, having been too lazy to use all of its facilities prior to this. It forced me to use every option in the menus and every button on the camera - a great learning experience thanks to Luke the pro photographer, but again focussed much more on the creative techniques than the technical.
